Help with tin top no reving
Hi all
I have a Vectra c sri dti 150 diesel and when driving it today it stopped reving for a few seconds then started to work ok agane
has anyone come across this before if so what is the cure

Sounds like it went briefly into limp-home mode. Usually an unexpected sensor value, so might never happen again or conversely get worse/more
frequent.
If you can read out engine codes from the ECU then it might have an error code that will give a hint.

Check you number 3 injector plug for corrosion. Also do a quick google search for 'collapsed vacuum hose' problem.
I've had both of these with the same sort of symptoms, but they're both really easy fixes.

Hi all
It has had a number 3 injector plug
No it has not had a EGR valve , i was thinking of going for some gaskets and cleaning the valve today
I will have a good look for split pipes [ any tips best to look ie turbo pipes
Please keep the info coming
PS the car has only 34000mils on the clock
