chka chka....BROOM
hi everybody
fired the engine up for the first time tonight
wats a feelin and what a sound too,
feels really satifying after all the work and effort
the exhaust got bright red after a while but im putting this down to the timing
will start on that tomorrow,
had a bit of trouble getting the water round the engine to untill i realised the water temp plug was missing and water
was pissing out of the hole. oops!
but apart from that the engine sounds good
cheers to every one for the help so far
patrick

Well done!
I'm about 1/2 hour away from the same thing I hope
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

10 past midnight's a bit late to be firing an engine up isn't it?
Redeye,
You didn't say what engine it was.
Congratulations anyway!
