Hmmm

I have a large order outstanding with them. He reckoned it would take a week to get to me (last friday) so not dissapointed yet. Over the last two weeks or so when I was putting my order together with them, I always got an answer or a call-back without too many problems, so not concerned yet.

I paid for it with mastercard, so any issues and i'll be refunded.

I Hope that helps

Have you tried emailing him? - when I dealt with them he went on holiday (but there was a message on the answerphone confirming dates) and he was always prompt and helpful.

Only my opinion, but I would think that something has happened that's kept him away, if that's the case, rather than anything sinister.

I'm not worried - Ian's reputation is good here, and I found him excellent no the phone - slightly understated a little, but totally knows his stuff.

I'm looking forward to my bellhousing, clutch, flywheel, clutch cover, hydraulic acutators.

In essence everything I need to lighten the installation and move my new duratec miles backwards in the chassis.

I think it will be difficult to drill them out unless you have the correct tools. as the hole centre is not there you are going to have to keep the flywheel in the right place and guide the drill down. I would have thought it would be a job for an engineering shop as if they are out it could cause vibration or not fit at all.

The other thing to remember is that drills don't drill round holes - they're slightly triangular.

When I need a proper round hole, I drill out to 1mm dia (or so less), then I take it out to the circular shape using a reamer - it's a device designed for cutting circular holes. I have found this to be particularly important when putting nutserts into the car chassis.

You will also need to be sure you're going in at exactly 90 degrees, which means trusting your piller drill or at least getting a level on the base plate first.
