Master Cylinder 'Brands'...
I need to get three non-integral 0.625 MC's. I'm mulling over whether there will be a (real world) difference between a branded MC and an
unbranded one.
Do I buy three of
THESE for the same price as one of
THESE.
Or will I (possibly not) live to regret it!?

Been thinking hard about this - and it's really tricky
I really don't know
Probably need to know more about the application

No brainer if the seals weep on the cheaper cylinder all you need to do is fit a Girling repair kit.

I'd love to give my imaginary friend a great big hug,
but this jacket makes it impossible.

Ordered the a ebay 'non-brands'.
They arrived today and it seems they were once 'branded'!!! Wonder what name was rubbed off...

Ooooo. Not to rain on your parade but that smacks of 'seconds'.
Manufacturer quality control says that cylinder bore incorrect or that assembled unit won't hold steady pressure long enough to pass test. Grind
off name and add to rejects.
Someone comes along and buys rejects and puts on ebay.
I may be completely wrong though.

or one of the named brands has sold their old tools to AN Other, whom produce cheaper versions in left of azbekistan, and gring off the name from the
old cast tool
or the named versions are made by same factory in outer mongolia, but they have to remove name to flog on?
or could just be ebay crap

IMO the wilwood ones are pretty poor quality. Monumental amounts of pedal dead band due to rod free play and foot valve leakage, and one seal failure
after less than 300 miles. I had started to wonder whether a single OEM master cylinder and a PRV would have been a better solution!
