pinto timing
cn anyone tell me the pinto timing settings its a 2.0 on bike carbs if that makes any difference ?

Dot on crank pointing straight up (tdc) marks should line up with a mark on the block
Dot/Pointer on cam straight down, again marks will line up with a mark on the head
Rotor arm on distributor to be pointed to a line marked on the dizzy body
the pinto is as simple as it gets....

Standard cam unleaded about 8 degrees
Performance cam manufacturers setting usualy 10 to 12 depending
36 to 38 degrees all in at 3600rpm
