wasted spark pairing duratec

Im re-doing my wiring loom, on a Duratec which cylinders should be paired for wasted spark?
1&3 with 2&4
2&3 with 1&4
1&2 with 3&4

1 & 4 fire at the same time and share a coil

2 & 3 fire at the same time and share a coil

Thank you. Simple logic like 1-3-4-2 and pair the ones 180degrees apart completely escaped me!

The simplest logic is to pair the pistons that rise and fall together, which will always be 1,4 and 2,3 on an inline 4.

Easy to go wrong for some reason it seems unatural last week I was refitting the coil packs to a K16 and had to stop and do a reality check.
