Pinto Water pump
I tried to order a pump for my pinto then i was told there are loads of types (power steering, age of engine etc) I know nothing about the engine as i
got it on its own so how does one tell which pump i can get? All i know is its a 2.0 litre Pinto with 205 block

Just say an '89 2.0i SOHC.
To be honest though- I'm pretty sure any will fit. I've just fitted an alloy one from a 1.6Capri to my 2.0i Sierra.

I think james is probably right, if you ask for a later model one it should fit. I bought an old capri 2.0 Pinto for the carb and other spares and
the water pump looked the same as the one already fitted to my 89 2.0L Saphire Pinto.

there are a few diffo ones, like if the fan is viscous or bolt on and if the bleed pipe is there, prices vary so go for the cheapest
