MK Indy R diff removal
MK Indy R, 7-inch diff with bolt-on type shafts. Can you remove the diff from underneath or does it have to come out the top?
The only reason I'm asking is because my car is stored 150 miles away from me at the moment due to work and I haven't had chance to have a
proper look. From what I can remember though, there seems to be two longitudinal chassis rails that could potentially cause an obstruction.
Is it just a case of fighting/fiddling it out?
Cheers,
Sean

Diff
Hi
We have a std Indy with the same diff.
Yes it will come out of the bottom, probably easier to remove the top bolt from the top (inside rear panel)
Maybe even the shaft bolts, whichever is easier.
See latest picture in our archive. utu if you need any more help.
Good luck
