Just thought I would give a plug.
My starter motor on the 1.8 CVH has been giving me some problems recently. Not always engaging with clicks from the solenoid. It had lasted from the
original Sierra and was manufactured in 1990.
Anyway took the old unit in to Leyland Auto at Walton Summit.
Thought I would have to leave the old unit to get it refurbished but walked out with a new one for £51 including VAT
Just found the unit on the suppliers web page at £63.20 probably plus VAT.

Not sure how the counter guy picked this one as I could not from the parts list, but in and fitted and working well?
Always found LA to be friendly you just have to be patient as they do get busy, .

Why do I have to make the tools to finish the job? More time then money.
