zetec in tank fuel pump advice
morning all
I think I am going to use a custom tank with built in landy fuel pump,
this is for a 2.0 zetec with gsxr TB's track car
I believe if I fit the landy pump I only need a regulator,
can I use this regulator
FSE AIR004 Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator 1-5 bar | eBay
and this fuel pump
ESR3926 LANDROVER DISCOVERY V8 3.9 EFI FUEL PUMP | eBay
any advice gratefully appreciated

Hi Gav,
Can't help with your question directly I'm afraid, but going back to my old days of Vauxhall XE/Redtop & turbo/LET tuning, the FSE
units were always second fiddle. SARD were the flavour at the time, but they were dearer. I heard a few stories of FSE units failing, although
don't take my word as gospel - I'm sure there are plenty of success stories out there as well! Either way, both units offer advantages
over OE items.
On a slightly side note, I never knew why the FSE unit were marketed as "Power Boost Valves", perhaps this was just a promotional
thing....

The "Power Boost Valve" is a totally different device, its intended for production cars and helps eliminate flat spots (allegedly). What
you need is a bog standard injection regulator, 3 bar is the normal pressure.
I use exactly the same regulator shown in your link but mine has screw on unions, does the job.
With regards to the fuel pump mine is an external FSE one but I use a swirl pot.
