You have the very same dream i had(and am still having) when i first put an XE engine in my Avon 3 years ago. Since then I've kept it NA and managed to get to just a tad under 260 bhp but i still long for the whine and torque delivery of a charger.

Dont think anyone on here has done one or has ever fitted one to a kit as far as i can tell. The problem is room for me but its not a closed door just yet. I looked at the Mini charger and also the Merc 230k but they are quite long. i reckon you could push and get a Rotrex one in there(expensive though) but wont be trying this year(maybe next).

There are quite a few on Youtube but all are mounted high which is no good for us.

Will be watching with major interest if you actually get going with this

Fullcage and all it weighs in at 590 kgs Jeff. With 260bhp its enough to keep with most around my local tracks even the v.light or powerful stuff.

Would be awesome with a charger though. Ill have a quick look to see if i can find some more info for you.

I looked at the Rotrex c30-84 which will happily flow plenty enough boost to get somewhere around 300bhp on an XE/LET engine.
It depends really how far you really want to go. For me 300 would be an ideal figure as it will have a great wedge of torque to go with it which is what i`m missing now but you could much quite a bit further with the correct mods to suit.

My local track is Blyton(35mins) and Cadwell(1hr30mins) which cater well for my type of car.

Where are you situated?
