Cable/hyd clutch issue

Hi, a friend recommended me to this site saying its full of geniuses who will be able to answer a few of my questions! I'm in the process of rebuilding a fiat 126 with an FZR 1000 engine in. The issue I have is that the car had a cable clutch and the bike hydraulic. The original bodge that was on the war when the conversion was done was a crude combination of the two systems. They had basically welded the original bike clutch lever under the car, drilled a whole through the lever and fed the cars clutch cable through it with a random spring wedged in to act as a return. This was a piece of 5hit idea and didn't work as there was no feel in it and didn't return smoothly or every time so I've binned it.

What I am thinking is removing the cars clutch pedal and either modifying it or finding a suitable replacement from a car with a master cylinder/ MC linkage attached, re-fit it then run a hyd line down the car to the bike engine's slave.

My question is can anyone think of any issues I may face, other things I need to consider or suggestions for donor pedals.

Any help would be appreciated.

A standard mini hydraulic slave cylinder gives an excellent clutch pedal feel with good travel on a R1 engine, get the internal circlip slave cylinder type to prevent over extending the clutch on the bike end, I don't know the part number for that cylinder but the mini specialist should know, or put some sort of physical limit on it

This is using the mini cylinder on a mini pedal setup which will be a different ratio probably to your fiat set up
