What oil to use in a modified pinto
I have a modified pinto engine in my kit car what oil do people recommend
I've heard a lot of people talking about valveline 20/50 is it really what's best for the engine

They do like Valvoline vr1 20/50.

Another vote for Valvoline
It might not be cheap but you get what you pay for with engine oil

Most Any oil is of a few generations further advanced than what that Geriatric engine was penned for :-)

that can present a problem as modern oils can be too thin for older engines that were built to lesser tolerances.

Unless its heavily modified and used very hard I'd use a good branded oil to Ford's original rating with regular oil and filter
changes....3k miles.

Fill it with Castrol GTX, it will be absolutely fine..........
