Nee luck with exhaust...

Having no luck getting any bends to build my exhaust

Either the likes of ebay sellers want £15 each bend, or the likes of Osprey and Jp exhausts either have no stock or the checkout prices doesn't work!

Just cannot do anything cost effective these days lad!

You could have alook at kitspares, click the link

They have a few bends which seem ok price wise, although not a massive choice, a quick call to them and they might be able to supply you what you need. They have always been very helpful whenever I asked for something unusual!

Theres a good article on ojz web page also relating to tube dia and the like, I'm on with the same search for the bends at the right price.

I phoned Lance on saturday to get a rough idea of cost's to have one built and he's busy at the moment, but says it will calm down after march.

I would like to make my own, but don't want to pay through the nose for the bit's. Keep us posted if you find any cheep.

Well I wanted a stainless system but gathering the parts has proofed too stressful.

So, with the help of some cider to make me mind up (been at this for at least 3 months!) I've ordered a full kit from Spencer Ashley in mild steel for £205....

In stainless.. £65 for flanges, £80 for 2 x 4-1 collectors, 8 x 90 bends.. £80 to £120.. 1 metre pipe £25.. so thats nearly £250 for the headers..

Now I need 2 silencers, some 2.5" pipe and a couple of tail trims..

We'll see how it sounds with the headers welded up

Too late for Coozer then, but I've got some 2", 90deg bends in stainless if anybody needs some. Bought for my project but are larger dia than I need.
Coozer obviously gets first refusal if he wants them.
I'll take a fiver each + postage to fellow Locosters and that's well less than I paid for them.
Oo, am I getting Scootzitis?

Tell them about the bent treacle edges!
