SPECIALISED ENGINES

I need to be reconditioning my crossflow soon and there is a company based in Grays, Essex called Specialised Engines.

I was just wondering if anybody has used them and if they are any good ???

Take a look on www.specialisedengines.co.uk

Their prices look really keen for full engines !

It might be just as easy to buy one and bolt it in !!

Peter.

a lot of recon engines are not if you read the small print - they are often straight out of a wreck 'refurbished' with a nominal guarantee.

read the small print from any engine recon co before you buy.

Peter, If you're in Essex, you might want to try Gard Engineering in Rayleigh. They did a fantastic job re-building my mates cossie engine, and the price wasn't too bad if I recall.

The guy who runs it is called Tony, 01268 747410. I have dealt with them and would recommend them. He used to work at Dunton (Ford's Product development site) and he knows his way around Ford engines!
