Manta pickup mod

Does the standard manta pickup pipe need modding as per SBDev's website or it that modification for the standard XE pickup pipe?? For use on 2.0 XE with alloy Manta sump.

Cheers.

From memory, that looks to be a Manta pick-up pipe, and a 16v windage tray.

Have you modified your manta sump? If not, you could be struggling for ground clearance...

Dont just build it.....make it!

JJM, I have done this conversion before. (on mantas and others)

The manta 1800 pickup pipe can be used with the manta 1800 sump with no mods. the 1800 block (and thus pickup pipe mounting) is identical in all but detail to the 2.0 XE 16v.

To use the windage tray you will need to mod the tray to fit around the pickup pipe though.
