Zetec head stamp
Bought a 2.0 silvertop off ebay that had zetec escort inlet manifold, fuel sandwich plate with injectors and sump........ Now i'm wondering if
it has a 1.8 head too? Valve and port sizes are the same as the 2.0 so is it a 130bhp 1.8 head perhaps with this stamp? or is it meaningless and
misleading?

That casting appears to be 2.0

just looked at my spare 2 litre head and does not seem to have that 1.8 marking at all, best way i thought was to measure bore across head and was
84mm, think 1.8 litre approx 81mm

Thanks for the measurement Will, mine is the same as your's so can only assume the marking on the head is not anything to do with the
displacement
