Only another 590 to go.
I'm addicted to brake fluid, but I can stop anytime.

If you have to ask people to watch it, then surely you have already lost your bet, by cheating.
You're NOT supposed to prove them right!
Tell them about the bent treacle edges!

Agree that seems like a lot of smoke coming out of the vent, is the crankcase pressurising?

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Aren't you risking overspeeding the turbo with nothing connected to the compressor?

My V6 was doing that the other day but it was about 2degrees in the garage so assumed it was just the temperature hence the steam.

Thanks guys.
It's a sacrificial turbo I bought for building the manifold. The bearings are already gone. I have noticed the valor coming from the breather
and presumed it was just condensation
Any ideas what that could be ?

Exactly my thought. Normally it is the inlet pressure that slows things down and activates the wastegate.
Perhaps when the engine has no load you can't give it enough gas to cause problems.
