Lighting q
Been building my mnr for a very long time and am getting close to iva time
Have seen that both the indicators and the headlights need to be within 400mm of the side of the car
Stupid question is that from the middle of the headlight and is that the side body of the car or the outermost point -which would be the arch for the
front wheel
Am thinking I may need to get a wider light bar as the middle of the headlights is 500mm from the outermost edge of the wheel arch
Am guessing the iva regs have changed a bit on this point over the years or has it always been 400mm and the light bar was to short from the outset ?
Thanks in advance and apologies if its a simple question

Outer edge of the lamp lens, widest part of the body (which may be the rear arches).

As above, also check if your rear fog is mastered by the sidelights, if so this needs to be changed to dipped beam for iva
