could any one tell me what temperture on the tiger water gauge should the fan kick in please.

most cars a electric fans come on approx between 92 to 98 deg hope that helps

To expand a bit it depends on the switch can be anywhere between 83 and 108c. and on some cars the fans don't go full blast till 118c

The cut in temperature must always be a few degrees higher than the nominal thermostat temperature, the switch off temperature should not be below the thermostat temp.

A proper temperature gauges that reads in degrees C can take a bit of getting used too. On modern tintops the temperature gauge touches "N" at about 75c and doesn’t go much above "N" until 115c see graphic.
