Blacktop zetec Engine height HELPPP

how high should my blacktop engine be? it is a 1800 zetec blacktop just to confirm

if i measure from the top of the top chassis rail to the top of the cam cover it is about 220mm... if someone could measure theres and let me know what theres is i would greatly appreciate it.

i think my engine is about 20mm to high (thats a rough estimate) could be 40mm to high i dont really know, i cant see how my nose cone will fit on. do i need a taller body kit or anything

I am running blacktop, had to put engine as far back to the bulkhead as possible, also cut the up stand that holds the cam cover completely off. This means you cannot have a cam cover, but engine fits under bonnet by about 20mm.

i was thinking about not having a cam cover, the cam cover isnt bolted on neither is the rocker cover as im waiting for my new cams to arrive so there isnt any cams in the engine, removing the cam cover only gains betwwe 5-10mm i think

i like to idea of showing the cams and belt off makes it look like a real engine!

but im still to high!!!

im going to make new engine mounts and i think i will lower if buy about 25-30mm but im really after a height to aim for that definetley works

Think carefully about cam cover. As in "looking good" to the grief if a bit of kitty litter/stray stone/small animal gets in there..........
