New member....

Hi guys im a new member and have bought my self a stuart taylor zx9r car and must say I love it!! Bought the car over 6 months ago now... I am presuming that the stuart tayloy are now locost?

Also im looking for advice on where to buy my parts from the car was apparently factory built and is on a 53 reg

The clutch has started slipping and im looking at replacing it but im unsure of what year the engine is the numbers iv got on the engine are zx900ce

Aries motorsport have take over the Stuart Taylor 7 based on the Locost design. Stuart Taylor started making chassis of the Locost design for people who did not have the skills/tools/time to make their own. Locost was a different company but the Locost name came from a self build design featured in the book "Build your own sportscar for £250" by Ron Champion.
As regards your engine Andy at AB Performance would be the guy to speak to, from what I understand what he does not know about bike engined cars is not worth knowing. I am sure someone more knowledgeable than me will be along soon to give you some more info.
