Engine VS gearbox
Is it possible to fit a escort 1,6 engine from 1988 to a Sierra gear box?
If it is...what year must it be on the gearbox?

It will be a CVH engine, the main problem is the engine mounts. I have managed to fit a cvh in my car but had some problems mounting it.Try looking
through the previous messages there has been quite a lot of discussion on this subject. It may be to tall unless you make your chassis sides higher due
to the injection gear.
