Fuel tank level :-/
Ive fitted a new pipe on the tank where it indicates how much fuel is in the tank then I went to fill it up but when I got back and looked to check
the level there was no fuel in the pipe even tho the tank is full, I'm confused lol.

Is the pipe only connected at the bottom of the fuel tank ? it has to also be connected at the top too, it sounds like you have air trapped in the
pipe

If the tank is full, the tube may be full of petrol and not visible, keep checking as you use it, the top of the fuel level should become visible as
the level goes down.

It may be a daft idea but if the tank is full that will mean the pipe is full so to you it will look empty If you get what i mean
If you only half filled the tank you would see the height half up the pipe
40Inches beat me to it
