Blacktop camcover on a Silvertop?

Random question as I'm trying to unpick a photo seen elsewhere, will it fit?

Yes, they are interchangeable, but, the cambelt covers will not fit properly, and will need trimming. It is better to leave them off altogether than have gaps where debris can get in, leaving them off means there is less chance of such debris getting stuck.

Fit the proper covers and make sure they are sealed. Don't leave the covers off. A friend left the cover off to show off his fancy verniers and a pebble managed to get in the belt. Cost him a £2k head.....

Ok, that explains the photo I have (think saved from an old ebay listing) but a valid point about the covers.

Mine has actually been off for the most of the time I have owned the car without issue, having lots the extra long bolts and not got around to refitting it, but I am otherwise a bit of a covers-on man myself.
