Got the 'Dirty Beast' home .. how the hell am I supposed to maul that into the garage!

Four castors bolted to a piece of wood - that's what I did.

Big bit of wood and a mate then just carry it in.

I have carried one on my own. Not recommended for your back. .

Unbolt as much as you can where it is. Things like the aircon pump and alternator will be about 5 kilos each.

Then get someone to help you lift it onto some sort of wheeled trolly

That was exciting!!
Piece of wood .. 2 of us..
On to a small trolley..
Wheels no longer round
Will strip off the rubbish over the next few days and move it to the bench ..
Should be a bit lighter by then

All the bits are coming off before I even think about moving it..

Interesting to see the 'proper' belt routing- I might get an auto tensioner and shift some stuff about!

I moved mine 200 meters down the road to a council garage on a sack truck. Got some strange looks!

Yeah .. I'm aware of the rotation of the water pump..
Its centrifugal so it 'can' run backwards but can cavitate & causes air locks at high speed..
Be nice to get it clean !!

Keep hold of the ribbed idler pulley it will come in very useful.
