Hi, I have used a megajolt with an ignition map from another LCB member and ZX6R carbs on my pre 95 silvertop.

So far I have had to spend nothing extra and the engine runs and revs nicely - after a deep clean with carb cleaner
and balancing with a suitable airflow meter.

Just got to get it on a rolling road for final setup / emission's check.

Standard jets in my carbs are 0.6 which is where most people say to start.

Len.

Cheapest has surely gotta be standard ECU and ignition?
Plenty of us have done this now with good results!

Basic working maps for a reliable starting point -yes.
Once you start modifying you are on your own. :-)
