Zetec Block Width

I've done a search but could not come up with an answer, so -

Can anyone tell me/measure the width of a Zetec (silver/black top) across the mounting points typically used for RWD applications.

Thanks in advance

Loggyboy, many thanks for the info. Just to confirm it is the block width that I want.

The reason for this is I am fitting a 1.7 puma engine to an anglia with an escort cross member and I am trying to work out if itis easier to mod a set of zetec/pinto/xflow mounts than get some made up from scratch.

Any more info on the various block widths would be gratefully recieved.

If your a semi competent welder then make your own, mine cost about £30 materials from ebay and landrover rubbers.

Unfortunately that skill is not in my toolbox, thetefore my logic was - the zetec or possibly pinto may be wider than the zetec se/sigma so a couple of packing plates would both make the mounts the correct width and also act as adaptor plates between the different mounting points.

Is the 1.7 the same block as 1.6/1.8/2.0,if it's the alloy block I don't think it mates to rwd boxes,,,anyone?
