MT75 and PINTO 2.0

Would value some advice and guidance.

I have an MT75 Gearbox removed from an XR4 and a 2.0 PINTO fitted to my MK Indy. I have previously been told that to make this work I'll need to fit a Type 9 Clutch Lever, other people have told me that I simply need an adapter plate.

Having little experience with Ford engines and transmission I'm unsure which advice to take, also building on a budget and don't want to spend money needlessly

Thanks in advance.

Its a good few years since I built my MG with Zetec and MT75, but I'm pretty sure a twin cam Sierra thrust bearing will will work fine with the MT clutch lever and Pinto flywheel & clutch...

The gear box will bolt on just fine but you will need to play with the thrust bearing or the pivot point. The mt75 flywheel is very deep.

With a zetec fly wheel on a zetec you need an extra 20mm I don't know how the pinto compares.
