Personally, I would resolve the little issues and put your price back up. A battery will cost about £40 from eBay, some T-Cut and elbow grease sorts
out the overspray issue and if you have a morning to spare, change the sump. I suspect people are looking for a car that they can jump into and use
and the moment, there are plenty around for them to chose from.
Not being able to go for a test drive would put me off for sure....
Always biting off more than I can chew.....

To much focus on the negatives in my opinion, wonky brakes, intermittent speedo etc draw a negative picture.
Spend a day sorting out the minor issues above could be worth £300 including rubbing off overspray, pin hole in sump try peening it with a hammer the
put up a positive advert.
Great car, enjoyed the last fees years of ownership time to move on due to space requirements. Do they need to know the front suspension was
knackered? If you have replaced then you can state well maintained!
And lose the sculls on the head rests it may put someone off.
Regards Mark

I agree if you spent a bit of time and effort on it should be worth 4.5 to 5 k worth getting it moted and ditch the skulls on the seats....

The skulls aren't doing you any favours - you may love them but it's not going to be your car and to be absolutely honest they're a
bit 'Barry' ........ a couple of quid on a decent gearknob wouldn't hurt either and those wheels (although there's absolutely
nothing wrong with them) just say 'budget build' to most people I suspect.........

My opinion should count for nothing being so new but I would also cut the gear-stick down abit, looks like a horrid height to work with! Agree with
everyone else after newly finding one I liked enought to buy, remove the stickers on the seat, fix the battery and spend a bit of money and time to
fix the sump and even mot and ask again for the money u want.

imo, those are the reasons why it does not sell:
no mot
flat battery
some stickers need to be removed
you get a near to new sylva striker for 3.5 to 4.5k (x/flow powered)
you get a reasonable IRS westfield from the 90ies for 4-4.5k (x/flow powered)
only a few potential buyers will financially respect your upgrades of rebuilt front suspension, willwood brakes etc.
lOCOSTS“S are often misunderstood...lots of buyers rather prefer buying a car from a proper manufacturer..like westfield, tiger or sylva etc...
DVLA is listing your car with a 1300 engine (crossflow i guess??)
how does it come to its 1980 registration date..i mean pre-sva cars yes, post sva cars normally not?
no windscreen, no wind deflector, nor it looks as they would come as spare....
dont want to sound harsh.....but kitcar market is rather tough in terms of sale.....
