What inlet gasket on carb'd 205 Pinto

Having a bit of a brain fade...

I appear to have a leak from the inlet gasket of no.4 piston on my 205 injection Pinto.

However, it's got a downdraft 32/36 carb fitted.

I can't for the life of me remember which gasket I fitted before, or which one I should be fitting?

Should I use the injection gasket or the carb one? Or are the ports the same and it makes no difference?

Thanks!
James

injection ones are egg shaped

carb'd ones are round

so its just whichever one matches what you've got...

if you've got a head with egg shaped ports and a manifold with round ones then both will be equally bad (as you'll have the mismatched port shapes regardless of the gasket used)

Use a pattern carb one not the proper ford, the 'copies' have a bit more material around the ports to cope with the miss match.

Dug around in the garage and found an injection one.

Will give that a go I guess.

Some gentle use of sealant helps
Just a smear on either side, push on to head, press on manifold, remove manifold, wipe excess of refit manifold, torque up
