Nice, needs roll bar tho! Looks like it's driven under a lorry trailer and sliced the lot off....
Hope it's already passed it's SVA !

Cheers to Zilspeed for that!
Ref shift light - it's actually oil pressure warning, the neutral lamp is to the left.
SVA? Let's just say it was an extensive overhaul!
Anybody know where to buy two-pack paint at the right price?

Looks great...
Are you planning on changing the rear lights at all? Whole car looks ace apart from the 'trailer bar' at the rear IMHO...
Cheers

Suffering from a carbon-fibre fetisj, I can safely say; JUMJUM!
But please put the front lights lower, and do something with the rearlights!
Other than that; JUMJUM again.

CBR1000 Pics
Many thanks for all the comments.
To respond:
1. I mounted the h/lights on turned pillars to give full lock clearance for the MOT. I also had to make two split collars to fit to the rack inside
the gaiter to act as stops as the n/s cycle wing fouled the manifold. (trust me, both will come off as soon as said ticket is in my mitts!)
2. Tail lamps, agree they look pants, but the whole assy comes of via two knurled nuts and multiway connector (hidden). That way it looks pretty
cute, and takes another few ounces off for track days (at nearly zero cost) + I did not want to drill more holes in the glass than necessary to avoid
gel crazing
3. The carbon (wings, scuttle and nose) were from Stuart Taylor - they were the first wet laid carbon their glass man had done so I got 'em
cheeeap! The bonnet I made myself by filling the entire bay with, first timber/ply, then plaster, then grout, then body filler (I'd do it
differently next time with foam), then pulled a mould, then laid up what you see. The bump is totally necessary to clear the filter. if anybody
wants to borrow the mould they are welcome to. I'd offer to make one but time is just too tight.
