V6 cooling

Folks, after discovering my nice radiator is actually an intercooler .

I'm now looking into solutions for cooling a 12V Alfa V6.

What are the collectives thoughts on RENAULT CLIO 172 182 KANGOO 98-05 W/OUT AIRCON ALUMINIUM ALLOY RACE RADIATOR RAD or shall I pay the money and get a Caterham radiator from the likes of Radtec for another £100?

Regards Dan.

Hi scutter,

mine is running Dax's radiator which is used for the v8s. It's core is 420x370x40mm. I've had no problems with cooling at all, even when sat in traffic. I do also have the alfa's oil cooler, but it's behind the rad and I don't know what effect it actually has.

Since that one is 500mm x 410mm x 40mm I'd have thought it'd be plenty big enough.

Cheers Andy, it's also helped by the fact that a friend has a normal Clio rad I can borrow to see if it fits.

Stupid question but what's issue with using the intercooler as a radiator?
