Speedo cable/ drive.
Anybody know of somebody that makes up cables, (at a reasonable price). I need to have one made up with a VSS, which I have, put in the middle of it.
Also looking for a 90 deg drive to fit type nine box.

Speedy cables and Richfield also do these bits, not much difference in price though.
Cheers

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the
error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

do you need the 90deg for space reasons?
not sure if its gonna help at all, but earliler you talked about needing a cable with an Inline VSS.
well, not a kit car, but i had to fit a speed sensor for my 24v capri. i had the type 9 too. so i found that a Sierra 4x4 ( g reg on ) has a speedo
cable with an Inline VSS. the cable is split at about 90% the way along, then the speed sensor screwed in, and the rest of the cable in to that. you
will have to change the end from an MT75 style to a Type 9 style though ( i got mine done at speedy cables )..

Thanks everyone, looks like more ruddy expence, aint that the way.
Saigonij. Yes, space is the problem, the standard cable would go round my feet and the pedals, if fitted. I already have a 4 x 4 speedo cable,
as that is my donor car, but the lengths are all to pot, so need a special one made up.
