Type 9 removal

Hi All
Has anyone removed a type 9 from a MK Indy from under the car and left the engine in place ?

Not unless the gearbox support member is removable?

Mostna welded solid to the chassis.

I can just about her mine out.

Remove prop and it can slide into the trans tunnel a little just enough to give it space to drop out the clutch. Mk's are not much different to the Haynes.

It all depends how far back your engine is and how tight everything is.
