Mk1 2.0 16v Mondeo - Reg No.
To help me with getting standard parts from Ford, does anyone have a reg no that they use?

If you have your donor engine chassis no, you can put in in
https://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleRegSelector.do , and the reg no will appear with all the
build data from the donor car, ready for use to order aftermarket parts.
If you have the engine no, it is the also last 6 digits of the vin, you can transplant this into the vin from a similar spec vehicle, and it will
produce vehicle build data and reg, I had to do this to find the correct oe headgasket, as ford could not identify from year or engine number and the
original donor was destroyed to the point only the colour was identifiable.

Hi Dave, thanks for that information. Unfortunately in my current case, the engine no. was changed by either Westfield at time of supply (2000), or by
the builder - the engine was fully rebuilt, as new unit. Any chance of a chassis no. has been lost in the most of times. Thanks again for the link
though.
