XE Plumbing

Any one out there plumbed in a XE with water jacketed manifold?

I need to combine 3x 35mm pipes, and feed into one of them the header tank pipe, all behind the water pump so not alot of room.

Any ideas?

How come you have that many pipes? Havent you got the original black elbow and plastic pipe that bolt to the block and water pump? Mine has a pipe on that that lines up fine with the big hole on the inlet manifold.

Andrew

Don't tell me that! I knew I should have paid more attention when my Dad was clearing up!

In fact I don't remember any pipes left on the engine when I got it.

Do you have a picture?

I am connecting up as directed by the SBD plan.

Cheers Ben

speak to ally fab, they've done some plumbing bits for an xe and should know what you're talking about, they can probably help make any joining bits up, they had some bits on stand at donny and exeter. they're doing a tank for me at the moment, so can split postage too if you like..

Ned.

sorry ps allyfab.co.uk

If you look in my photo archive, the photo of engine you'll see sierra header tank.
The thin top hose from tank goes to the inlet manifold, the slightly larger bottom hose from tank goes to a T piece in large hose that goes from inlet side of engine to bottom of radiator.
This has worked perfectly for the last 2 yrs
