Starter for ST170 on an MT75
Helping out a mate fitting an ST170 onto an MT75 box - no issues but now find that the starter motor can't fit as it fouls up against the alloy
part of the sump. Even after shaving off much of the sump excess, the starter still fouls up against the contours of the sump.
Any suggestions? Anyone use a Brise or a Wosp?

Grind more off:

That's a QX Components QS1221 starter if you need a slim one.
I didn't like the look of the ground sump, so used an all alloy one with a couple of reliefs
Phase 2 sump on phase 3

Had a relief cut out in my zetec sump
Life is like a bowl of fruit, funny how all the weird looking ones are left alone

Hi, can you confirm that this is a Quinton Hazell part as my local motor factors are having trouble with the part number...

@r1_pete, I see another one of your pics shows a QX Components Ltd label so not a QH part at all - my mistake! I'll contact them tomorrow,
cheers!
