CBR1000rr required mods

Other than a billet sump and baffle, what other mods are required/recommended when fitting a CBR1000rr 2008 to 2011 motor in a front engine, rear drive, 7 style car?

I know some replace the balance shaft and also run electric water pumps, is this necessary?

Thanks

Balance shaft is to grab a couple more bhp in tuned applications - about 3 horse but oil feed must be controlled if you delete it or oil pressure will drop
Heavy duty clutch diaphragm is a good idea
If using stock management power commander is a must
Replace stock water pump with electric - this motor revs real high and produces big heat the standard unit will struggle
Water pump delet kit blocks original pump hole - don't leave the stocker in place if going electric it gets hot and saps power
Various bits and pieces to defeat limp homes eg When steering damper etc is not used
Sandwich plate for separate oil cooler
Oil cooler
Thermostat mod

That's about it - done dozens like this and they do what they say on the tin

Andy
