CBR900 clean & prep for rolling road

My newly refreshed 2.1 Pinto is in, I have bought and refurbished the inlet manifold and now need to fit a secondhand set of VP Keihin from a CBR900
I want to check and clean the carbs prior to fitting to the car then rolling roaded

So what should I check, what should I clean and how?

I also have some questions on the plastic pipes (photos below) and screws on the carb bodies.

Large central plastic pipe

Smaller twin pipes between each pair of carbs.

Bottom of carb bowl

Top rear of carb bowl

I eat to survive
I drink to forget
I breath to pi55 my ex wife off (and now my ex partner)
