GSXR1000 TB's - which FPR....?
Hello Chaps,
I have a set of GSXR1000 TB's and manifold (from DanST) to go onto my Zetec. My questions is this; the fuel rail only has an inlet so I assume
that I need an FPR in the feed to the rail that has two outlets so that I have a return to the swirl pot? If so, can anybody point me in the direction
of such a device or tell how it should be plumbed....?
Many thanks,
IanM

I have the same setup on my force!
Use a Bosch fpr on the outlet of the swirl pot feeding the fuel rail!

Daniel,
Does the Bosch FPR provide an outlet for a fuel return? If so, do you know the part number of the FPR in question? If it doesn't have a return,
can you explain the fuel system plumbing set up that you are using?
Many thanks,
IanM

It does indeed! I'm away for 8 days though so won't be able to give you a part number!
A quick call to Damian Tracey at Daytuner should suffice. He'll be able to supply one and explain how to pipe it up!
I do have a pic on my phone but it's not clear.
I have twin pumps.1 to draw fuel from tank to swirl lot and 1 to feed the rail

Thanks Daniel,
That's useful info. Your set up sounds the same as mine, I'm also using two pumps. I'll try and give Daniel a call.
All the best,
Ian

It's called a dead end fuel system. If you google it,you'll have plenty of bedtime reading!

The fuel pressure regulator goes on the discharge end of the fuel rail. You are trying to keep the pressure in the rail constant by varying regulator
discharge. Any adjustable fuel pressure regulator would work. I beleive my zetec runs fine at about 3bar. But rolling road will setup better if
required.

That diagram has a return line to tank with fpr off return side of rail!
Mine has an external swirl pot which draws from main tank. Then the fpr on the swirl pot outlet.

Does the FPR spill back into the swirl pot them?

Yes mate. Has an outlet to rail and a return if the fuel is upto pressure.
Your way is probably a more simple solution though if you have a return line to tank from rail!
I have a couple of pics of mine on my phone but they aren't clear really. And my swirl pot is external to tank, some are built in
