2.0 Blacktop Zetec modified full engine 205bhp
Gauging interest regarding possible engine sale. Purchased as a brand new create engine in 2011 is my 2.0 Zetec Black top, I brought the unit to fit
my Kit car which was iva'd end of 2011, The engine was purchased as a package from Raceline as a standard unit (with Jenvey 45 tbs) Then was ran
in standard form for approx 1000miles. Over the winter of 2013 the engine was removed and modified, the upgrades bring the engine to 205 bhp and
161ftlbs of tourqe, upgrades are as listed. Race line water rail kit, race line alternator and mounting kit / pulleys, Jenvey 45 throttle bodies with
50mm trumpet, jenvey ported manifold and tp sensor, the head was sent to Cylinder head developments where it was ported / gas flowed fitted with
h/duty valve springs and retainers, the cams were replaced with Kent focus12 cams and Kent vernier adj pulleys then re shimmed to suit. The engine was
then set up / dyno'd at NMS where it achieved great results. The engine has now covered 3200miles and still looks as new and is extremely
reliable, Regarding costs I have spent approx £4500 including purchasing the engine and the only reason for offering the unit for sale is I plan to
fit TTS / Rotrex supercharged engine, the engine is still fitted in my car and will be offered with everything listed and will only require a omex
loom / omen ecu to complete, regarding selling price does anybody have a idea of what such item would be worth as I was thinking about £2350, regards
Jim.

Why not modify the engine you have and fit the TTS Supercharger kit to that?

Sounds the sensible way forward, set of low compression Pistons and away you go.

If your supercharging and using race cams there is no need to lower compression.

I have considered using my current engine set up however the cost of the supercharger kit alone is quite considerable. I have a brand new 2.0 blacktop
sat in a crate in my garage so the idea is to sell the upgraded engine to pay for supercharger / piston / con rods etc.
What I am trying to gauge is opinions on the value of my upgraded engine.

You'll need the ITBs and the head/cams for the new engine.
Mine runs 10.5:1 compression Mark

You might get more for it with some of the bits like Jenveys and the water rail sold seperately.
The engine, people will want to see lots of build documentation, particularly as a new crate zetec is fairly cheap.

I'd be interested in quite a few bits off this if you do split. Currently building up a crate zetec.

Regarding evidence of power, I have all original build / purchase receipts, all original upgrade receipts, dyno print out with receipt recording 205.7
bhp and 161.5 ft lb of torque.
Also have various build pictures as well as dyno screenshot which I will try and attach this afternoon.
Cheers Jim
