Zetec flywheel compatibility
Hi collective, hoping that someone could offer some knowledge on my upcoming engine swap!
I currently have a 1.8 silvertop and am swapping to a
2.0 silvertop. I have a lightened flywheel on the 1.8 that I
Want to transfer over. Would the bolt patterns be the same?
Anything else to watch out for?

As far as I am aware it will fit, quick way of enhancing the 2.0l silvertop is to put on a stock 1.8 flywheel which is 2kg lighter.

If you want to save another couple of kg try and get a late cvh efi FW with the crank sensor marks on the back
Just drill the 10mm holes to 11mm and it bolts straight on
Has the same clutch bolt patterns so you can use a 16/1800 mondeo cover and plate

The bolt pattern is the same for mall zetecs because the crank is the same for every size engine right up to the last one for the focus rs mk1.
