MX-5 Exhaust
Hi,
My late 1.8 MK1 MX5 needs a new exhaust.
I'd like to go for a stainless steel one.
Trouble is that most of these are specified for earlier cars with shorter cats.
The only one that I think would fit is the IL
Motorsports one sold by MX5Parts
As this is a "sports" exhaust, I imagine that it might be noisy.
Have other people found a standard stainless exhaust for a late MK1?
Has anyone tried the IL Motorsports exhaust? Is it noisy?

I had a Larini long-cat exhaust on my Mk1 1.8. It was bassy rather than farty and sounded great. I don't know if they are still available
though.

I've got one from mx5parts on a car I'm scraping. Nice sound... Loud but not stupid. I'd have to measure the cat though (it's
got the cat delete pipe in). I'm away this weekend so will look Monday have a measure and think of a price if you're interested.

THIS is the one I have.
£120 plus p+p ? ...and I'll even polish it first.

Just measured and it's for the longer 440mm cat.
