Weber 40 DCOE starting point
Hi,
I'm after a sanity check or advice on an initial stab at setting up my Webers.
I've got a 1300 crossflow with twin webers - I'll be fitting a Newman FORK/290/401/PH3 cam which shouldn't nead any head work
(possibly new valve seats if they bind). I'll also use an acuspark non vacuum dizzy. I'm assuming max power will be around 5500 RPM.
(the cam manufacturer isn't sure where the peak power would be)
With that in mind does this sound ok as a starting point:
28mm Venturi
112 main Jets
145 Air Corrector
F15 Emulsion tube
Idle Jet 40/F9
Air Horn / Trumpet length around 45mm.
I'll then get it properly set up by the professionals - just want a good starting point to get it running and through (or to) the IVA.
Cheers,
Jon

Mains and air OK
Chokes OK but will hold it back abit if a good engine, 30-32 for a screamer
i'd go for F16 tubes
40F9 maybe too big, but give it a go
