Im considering fitting one to my car as the return pipe from the carb is connected directly back to the pump inlet .This works fine until the car is
left for a few days and then i find that the carb and fuel lines are dry. If i start the car and then leave it with out the engine getting hot it is
fine the next time i want to use it,. However if i put the car away with a hot engine it appears to cause a vapor lock in the fuel system.

i have driven mine without the seperator, but i intend to put it in again soon cos the engine is running very rich (sooty exhaust and stalling when
hot). since it ran fine in the donor, im gonna try the seperator again.
