ecoboost cooling diagram
I'm just fathoming out the cooling system on the ecoboost, which looks very similar to the duratec layout. From my pics of the factory car ive
seen I've come up with the diagram below. Can anyone see anything wrong with the layout? The oil cooler is one of the modine type ones on the
block. Credit to the caterham bloke who i've lifted some info from!

I think the ecoboost engines have two water thermostats. (may just be the 1l 3cyl though)

I recall they not also have an addional electric water pump?

Both just on the 1.0 3 cylinder as far as I'm aware. Should have said I'm using a 2.0 version. It's similar to the 2.0 duratec.

does it not have a water supply to and from the turbo?

Yes it does but as I've not disturbed that I didn't include it on my artistic masterpiece.

This is where I'm a little concerned. I'm pretty sure the ford diagram I'd seen shows the stat hose going to the top of the rad yet
westfield seem to have it going to the lower rad hose. The duratec diagrams I've seen seem to show it going to either depending on whose diagram
you look at.
