ST 170

Hi All,

Anyone fitted the ST170 2.0L Zetec? Any issues different than the normal Silver / Black top Zetecs?

Cheers!

Just the running of the VVC/VVti is the only issue im aware of.
Just needs the correct type of management.

I think the exhaust ports are in a slightly different place (higher ?) someone will confirm this I am sure. It is slightly taller as well. Everything else is basically a blacktop zetec so mounts, bellhousing, water pump etc. are all the same.

VCT controllers are available as a stand alone item if you do not want to buy the more expensive ECU with control built in (see thread on here about "free" ecu offer, may be of interest) and there is an "how to OEM" thread on here that may also help get it running in stock mode.

Exhaust ports are the same, its the inlet ports that are a bit higher, nearside engine mount is different and the vvt valve sticks up out the rocker cover...
