New gearbox parts
Had this turn up today, there's nothing like a bit of new gear to make the day better.

They're very good (smooth, quiet, good ratio's...i went for the 0.82 5th gear for better cruising), i fitted one in my Kitten last year
and it's not broken yet. I have a new pair of Drag slicks arriving in a few weeks, that will give it a good test

I've gone for the .82 5th as well, along with the 2.48 1st, what sort of torque are you putting through It?

Don't think that cardboard bit will last very long in the gearbox...

Yes, 2.48 1st here as well. My car's never been on rollers so i don't know the bhp/torque, but with the weight and 1/4 times (11.5)
it's safe to say more than the type 9 /SPC gearkit should have going through it!.
Just for info, i played about with different oils in the gearbox last year, i found Redline MTL 75/80 is very good
