Xflow bolts
Morning,
Rebuilding a xflow, do people reuse the mains cap and head bolts? Guessing best practice is to buy new but as they're not stretch and in good
condition I figure they'd be ok.
I will replace the rod bolts with the Burton heavy duty replacements as it's only a 1300.
Thanks!

If it’s a 1300 and not highly tuned or revs above the standard red line, I would consider using the old bolts having carefully checked them for any
damage.
Rod bolts are always worth replacing and I only use ARP as you can use them again and again

As above ^^
Ive always reused the head bolts and mains bolts, on all my xflows, and probably a lot more than I should
But I do like to keep a record of what ive done to either engine, and the conrod bolts have been replaced on both engines
Thats was probably spelt wrong, or had some grammer, that the "grammer police have to have a moan at
